MOSCOW, January 24 (RIA Novosti) - "In 2005 we shall complete the commissioning of the Nakhodka gas field and we have big gas production plans. In the near future LUKOIL will become an oil and gas company," LUKOIL Vice President Leonid Fedun said at a press conference. Since the end of 2005 - beginning of 2006 gas production will be growing rapidly, he stressed. According to Mr. Fedun, in 2005 the company is to increase oil production up to 90 million tons. According to preliminary information, in 2004 LUKOIL produced 86.3 million tons of oil. Speaking about railway oil supplies to China, Mr. Fedun did not rule out that LUKOIL would increase them. In the end of 2004 LUKOIL and Russian Railways signed an agreement stipulating that in 2005 the oil giant would deliver 3 million tons of oil to China.
