MOSCOW, October 24 (RIA Novosti) - The Siberian-Ural Petrochemical and Gas Company (Sibur), Russia's leading petrochemical company, reported Monday that revenues in the first nine months of 2005 grew 24.5% year on year to $2.6 billion. Sibur's domestic sales grew 18% to $1.85 billion, and exports grew 36% to $780 million, with pre-tax profit totaling $580 million, a 64.2% year-on-year increase. Sibur, a major subsidiary of Russian natural gas monopoly Gazprom, is a vertically integrated holding that controls the country's entire gas-processing and gas-chemical industry, producing over 100 petrochemical products.
